I am Parth Sharma from Bangalore. After graduating from a good college in India, I joined a reputed organization with a satisfactory pay package. Yet, I felt incomplete.

  • The money was good.
  • I lived in a good city.
  • I had great colleagues.

Still, there was a void. I was not happy, despite having everything that “should” make life complete.

Discovering Meditation

I wanted peace and harmony within myself. A friend introduced me to a simple, heart-based method of meditation.

At first, I had doubts and inhibitions. Being raised in a modern scientific society, I wanted concrete results. Still, I began practicing for 20–30 minutes daily.

Initially, thoughts persisted and disturbed my focus. Gradually, I started feeling calmness and peace of mind during and after meditation. I enjoyed the practice and increased it to one hour.

The benefits of meditation unfolded over time:

  • Greater peace and happiness
  • More tolerance and love toward others
  • Clarity in thoughts and actions
  • Better performance at work and in social life

  • Early morning practice with phenomenal results

Later, I researched scientific studies and found plenty of data supporting the benefits I was already experiencing.

Key Insight

Meditation is about practice, not theory. Its results are experience-based rather than knowledge-based.

We must practice it ourselves to truly feel the transformation. Having a master or trainer also helps greatly in the process.
